Jerry Kurka has once again stepped up as Tournament Chair for this year. Jerry has taken this task in years previous and we're looking to another success with him leading the way. Thanks Jerry!
To that end Secretary/Treasurer Tom Hogman
explains there needs to be another meeting before the start of the
season. Which by the way starts this coming Sunday Sep 30th.
This important meeting convenes Thursday Sept. 27th
2007. Start time
7:30 at the Civic Centre in either the Raven room, or the Minor
Hockey office (if it is available). With the sign-up numbers
increasing I feel we should be able to conduct the draft that
night as well. There are a number of persons who have sent in
their forms (I thank you). What I need now is THE MONEY!
Sec/Treasurer Hogamn reminds everyone to come
to the Thursday meeting and bring your cash/cheques and forms.
If there are not enough persons signed up by the
meeting then the draft will be postponed until a later date and
the ice times will be used as "pickup" games.

First
meeting proves productive as League establishes new President and
Tournament Chair. Taking the helm as new League President is
Andrew Schaeffer. Andrew has been part of the league
for a number of years and has coordinated numerous year end league
golf scrambles. His skills and enthusiasm will be an
huge asset to all in the up coming season.
