I have a BA in History and English, a BEd (Secondary) in Language Arts and Social Studies, a Teacher-Librarian Certificate, and I have just completed coursework for my Teacher-Librarian Diploma. I am currently a TOC in British Columbia and a volunteer with Virtual Reference Desk. Naturally, my resume is available upon e-mail request to anyone interested in hiring me.

This website is actually made up of 2 webpages: Teacher-Librarian Links and Social Studies Resources 8-12. Teacher-Librarian Links contains annotated links to a wide variety of websites related to the school library. Social Studies Resources 8-12 contains annotated lesson plan and resource links for secondary social studies teachers. Suggestions are more than welcome for either page.

I have worked on some other pages which might also be of interest. The first is a cooperatively planned and taught webquest for fourth graders called "Explorers of Canada Hall of Fame" and another webquest for tenth graders called "Indian" Logos and Mascots: An Honor or an Insult? I also created the Charles Hays Secondary School Library website which contains links to online resources in every subject area but I am not currently maintaining that site.
